i found a new love

And its arrival coincided not only with a massive increase in workload but also, and again, the 134th realisation that this blog has nothing to say.

But crikey it makes me smile and that's why I got it.

I think Maxwell Smart drove to his wedding in one of those.
There are theses written on men and sportscars. When my husband floated away after the 23rd year of marriage bored him, he bought a MazdaMX5 which was just out. It's a guy-thing.
Wishing you many miles of happy motoring.

Yep, it's a bloke thing but not all blokes. I had a sports car when I was about 20 for a while and I'd been thinking about a coastal tootle about car for a while. As I recall, and without bothering to wiki it, Maxwell Smart drove a Sunbeam Alpine.

Phwoaar! Is that a Get Smart -style Sunbeam Tiger?

Still haven't gone to wiki but as I now recall Maxwell Smart did drive the Sunbeam Tiger but the show's producers used the cheaper Alpine, just tricked up to resemble the Tiger. Tigers now are worth a motza.

No my friends, this is a humble MG Midget, with just enough power to get up the hill to VVB-by-the-sea.

god I'm dumb - the wedding episode was a 2CV, and no I didnt wiki, it just popped into my head when I was dragging up 86 visuals.
but I think there was a Spyder at some stage.
would you believe a VW Golf?
a Malvern Star with streamers?

Happy motoring.
I used to pore over the arty car photos in the UK MOTOR magazine in pre internet days.

You can't fool me Phil, it's a model toy photoshopped to fill the carport.

To be very trivial, I rode in a rumble seat once, vastly overrated.
