The Seekers were my mother's absolutely favourite "modern" (at the time) group. Somewhere in the several tons of family stuff I will find an LP, no doubt.
Father, OTOH, was a Manhattan Transfer fan.
we distributed Manhattan Transfer as they were on Transatlantic, Nat Joseph's label, along with Billy Connolly who we toured in about 1978? when he appeared to be nobody but filled the Dallas Brooks Hall's 5000 seats for 4 nights.
The Seekers had no appeal for me at their height, they were white, and I do recall that they toured after Athol*Guy, MP retired on a pension due to ill health. Judith has a sister who gigged with jazz bands around 1970/1
