Conspiracy theories are so much more fun than real life, n'est pas? The thing is...we all know there's no depth to which Howard wouldn't stoop, so.......you know it makes sense.

Phil, I too have no doubt that Hobgoblin John instructed Gunsel Bill to go forth and vilify. Nothing this government does or says is by chance. Too bad the gits who listen and nod their empty heads are too stupid to read or understand the Holy Bible of such chicanery, Machiavelli's The Prince. Though old Nicolo might be turning in his grave at the extent to which Howard has replaced the concept of Princeliness with that of a used car salesman.

Given the egregious Heffalump is one of the Rodent's closest, nearest and dearest, it would seem the 'comment' (that's giving it gravitas it no way deserves - "deliberate brain fart" would be close to the least worst and most generous description) would not be without a fair degree of deliberation.
(Michael Kirby might enlighten us about such allegedly off the cuff Heffalumpisms.)
Would it be indelicate of me to describe the Heffalump as a festering hemorrhoid on the arsehole of the Liberal Party?
